Hi all!
So sorry that I've been "absent" from really all of my online platforms. There were many challenges and changes for me this year. I lost my dad to cancer July 4th, which has left our family so lost and that we hardly know what to do with ourselves. He was a big man, and a big presence, and will be missed every single day until we see him again on the other side...
I also started the backyard nursery and have fought the heat, now drought, pests and weeds all summer. Everything is set up just very basic and I have plans for how I want to set up things and "grow" as time goes on. So far, everything is doing fairly well, to include rooting hundreds of cuttings! We had record heat this summer, and now we're getting record cold. Missouri! It's really a challenge to raise living things here with the radical weather we get. For now, I'll be focusing on mainly boxwoods and other evergreens, and hydrangeas to include hydrangea trees. I'll have a few other things as well, but those are my main projects.
I do have a few silkies available if anyone local is looking. I'm not shipping chicks at this time, and don't know if I will in the future. I will however, be shipping liner size plants.
